Crisis Intervention

Hope Horizon Mental health has a board certified child psychatrist, licensed clinical staff, registered intern clinicians, student interns and trainees, and mental health rehabilitation professionals.

Tulare County Psychiatric Emergency Team (PET).

This service provides mental health treatment for children with mental health problems that can’t wait for a regularly scheduled appointment. Crisis intervention can last up to eight hours and be provided in a clinic or provider office, over the phone, or in the home or other community setting. Crisis stabilization allows for time to work with the child and caregivers to assure stability and safety. After-hours crisis intervention is provided by the Tulare County Psychiatric Emergency Team (PET). 559-730-9922.
