Our Programs and Services

Hope and healing are on the horizon, and we’re with you every step of the way.

Services

To those struggling with depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, psychotic episodes, behavioral problems, or school adjustment issues–you are not alone!

We Provide Care

We provide care by listening and treating each person as an individual with their own needs.

We Educate

We educate through providing information about mental health treatment options and resources.

We Strengthen

We strengthen individuals and families by supporting them in their healing journey.

We Consult

We consult by working with families, schools and other professionals who are involved in the care of children or adolescents to support their recovery.

We Build Networks

We build networks that allow us to share information about best practices across organizations so we can offer the highest quality care possible.

We Provide Resources

We have extensive connections to various organizations, funding opportunities and grievance processes.

Mental Health Services

Our program is a community-based approach to the provision of children’s mental health services. Family involvement in treatment is emphasized. Our goal is to help children and adolescents reach their highest potential in school, home and the community, while limiting the development of more serious problems. Services include assessment, therapy (individual, family, and/or group therapy), case management, psychiatry, crisis support, and more.

Programs

We offer a variety of therapy services including Sexual Abuse Treatment (SAT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy, Building Bridges Program for perinatal wellness, Full-Service Partnership (FSP) and case management, First Episode Psychosis, and more. We have trained and certified therapists, a psychiatry team, case managers, and office staff to provide services and support to our clients.

Crisis Intervention

Crisis Intervention offers emergency psychiatric care to children in crisis, who need more immediate attention than they can receive at a regular appointment.

Case Management / Rehabilitation

Case Management helps people with mental illness get medical, educational, social, rehabilitation, or other community services that they might otherwise have difficulty accessing on their own.

Sexual Abuse Treatment

We recognize the lack of available resources for families impacted by sexual abuse and thus provide a strong treatment program throughout Tulare County. Our program offers individual, family, and group therapies to child victims, their non-offending caregivers, and other family members struggling with sexual abuse’s impact on the victim and family.

Medication Support Services

These services include the prescribing and monitoring of psychotropic medication, management of these by Hope Horizon Mental Health’s Board Certified Child Psychiatrist, and education and monitoring related to psychotropic medication.
